Dzisiaj mamy dla Was zupełnie nowe, interesujące wieści.
1. W przerwie prac nad Grantem postanowiliśmy przygotować jeszcze jeden mały dodatek, który może bardzo wzbogacić grę.
Tym dodatkiem będzie armia brytyjska dla lat 60-tych XIX wieku!
Wielka Brytania na skutek tzw. afery „Trent’a” była dosyć blisko uznania Konfederacji i wypowiedzenia wojny USA. Amerykańska marynarka wojenna zatrzymała bowiem brytyjski statek Trent i aresztowała płynących na nim konfederackich dyplomatów. Zjednoczone Królestwo potraktowało to jako pogwałcenie swojego terytorium i odpowiedziało wysłaniem sił ekspedycyjnych do Kanady i na Bermudy, a także wzmożonymi negocjacjami z Francją. Sukcesy Konfederacji, zwłaszcza zwycięstwo w siedniu dniach bitew, a potem pod drugim Manassas zwiększyły prawdopodobieństwo wojny. Ostatecznie kryzys udało się załagodzić, a wygrana Unii pod Antietam, a także Deklaracja Emancypacji zniwelowały ryzyko interwencji. Co jednak gdyby do niej doszło?
Brytyjczycy będą w grze specyficzną armią. Ich podstawowe jednostki będą drogie (armia zawodowa), uzupełnione formacjami milicyjnymi z Wysp i Kanady, a także jednostkami kolonialnymi. Inna będzie kawaleria, operująca bardziej na sposób europejski. Brytyjczycy będą mieli swój własny zestaw generałów i kart losowych.
W tej chwili gotowy jest pierwszy szkic zasad dla nich, rozpiski, karty generałów i karty losowe. Wszystko trzeba będzie solidnie przetestować.
Wiosną zaczniemy także prace nad figurkami do Brytyjczyków.

2. Dotarły do nas wreszcie długo wyczekiwane figurki żuawów i lekkiej piechoty (konfederackiej i unijnej). Niedługo dołączą również odlewy kawalerii. Żuawi i lekka piechota będą dostępni już w przyszłym tygodniu (w tej chwili są malowani do fotek na zestawy, fotki niebawem), kawaleria i milicja 9/10 kwietnia.

Great Britain as a result of the so-called „Trent” affair was quite close to the recognition of the Confederacy and the declaration of war to the US. The US navy stopped the British ship Trent and arrested Confederate diplomats on it. The United Kingdom treated this as a violation of its territory and responded by sending expeditionary forces to Canada and Bermuda, as well as intensified negotiations with France. The successes of the Confederacy, especially the victory over the seven days of battles, and then the second Manassas, increased the probability of war. Ultimately, the crisis managed to calm down, and the victory of the Union at Antietam, as well as the Declaration of Emancipation, reduced the risk of intervention. But what if it happened?
The British will be a specific army in the game. Their basic units will be expensive (professional army), supplemented by militia formations from the Islands and Canada, as well as colonial units. The cavalry will be different, operating more on the European manner. The British will have their own set of generals and random cards.
At the moment, the first draft of rules for them is ready, as well as scripts, generals’ cards and random cards. Everything will have to be reliably tested.
In the spring, we will also start work on 6 mm miniatures for the British.

2. Finally, long-awaited figurines of Zouaves and light infantry (confederate and Union) have reached us. The cavalry casts will soon join. Zuawi and light infantry will be available already next week (at the moment they are painted for pics for sets, photos soon), cavalry and militia on 9/10 April.
